Barbara Mowder, Ph.D.

PCI Lab Director and Professor at Pace University, NYC

 

Dr. Mowder is a Professor of Psychology at Pace University and has been involved in parenting research for over two decades.  She has written extensively on early childhood psychology, parent role development, and parenting in relation to child development outcomes and was the founding member of the Association for Early Childhood and Infant Psychologists.  She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and member of many other professional organizations.  She also directs the graduate psychology programs at Pace University-New York City.

Renee Krochek, Psy.D.

 

Dr. Krochek has been involved in parenting research since 2006 when she entered the doctoral program in school-clinical child psychology at Pace University-New York City.  She is now a licensed psychologist in Connecticut as well as New York, currently practicing as a school psychologist. Dr. Krochek has written extensively about parenting assessment, parenting behaviors, and parenting in relation to child devepment outcomes.

Taoxin Zeng, M.S.Ed.

Doctoral Student at Pace University, NYC

 

Taoxin Zeng has worked extensively on parenting research and is completing her doctoral degree at Pace University-New York City. She is currently a practicing school psychologist working with Chinese American children. Ms. Zeng is working on a number of research papers regarding late adolescents’ views of the importance and frequency of parenting behaviors.

Alixandra Blackman, M.S.Ed.

Fifth Year Doctoral Student at Pace University, NYC

 

Alixandra Blackman is currently a fifth year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. Her current research interests include not only children’s quantity and quality of time using electronic devices such as tablets and cell phones, but also parenting activities in relation to child development outcomes.

Ashley Bogatch, M.S.Ed.

Ashley Bogatch is currently a fifth year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. She has been involved in the examination and use of assessment measures and observation systems related to parenting. She is currently working on a variety of PCI research activities.

Linda Olszewski, M.A., M.S.Ed.

Linda Olszewski is currently a fifth year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. She conceptualized and is in the process of developing a psychometric instrument to measure the quantity and quality of parent, parent-child, and child screen-time. She has been involved in a variety of research activities associated with the PCI.

Shagufta Asar is currently a fourth year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. She has also been involved in the development of a screen-time measure as well as research related to multicultural parenting activities.

Allison is currently a second year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. Jessica is currently a second year doctoral student in the school-clinical child psychology program at Pace University-New York City. She is currently researching the relationship between parenting, nutrition, and screen time. Her past research has included the relationship between attachment and body image as well as the intergenerational transmission of trauma.

Brian Delgado 

First Year Master's Degree in Psychology at Pace University, NYC

 

Brian is currently a first year master's student in the psychology program at Pace University- New York City. His research interests include shedding light on early indicators of mood disorders and presenting research at a psychological conference such as the International Conference on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (ICCA).
